A couple of doctors, and good ones. Both attended some of the best Universities in the U.S. and now both are residents and starting a new life together. I don't need to tell you how much in love they were, how beautiful their families were for their union, and that everyone took such good care of us. It was a privilege to be part of their wedding day!

Melissa & Larry

Had one of the most colorful weddings. The Fall look they aimed for and the most fun too! They were always so willing to take the time to 'feel' what they wanted to project in the pictures so we always had to give them some space to cuddle up and whisper in each others ear..

Christina & Emerson Bran

Such beautiful ceremony we witnessed this day. Me and my associate almost burst into tears when they exchanged vows. Christina, now Mrs. Bran, loves flowers, she actually owns her very own successful company. www.flowersbyserenity.com and the venue was, of course, decorated so tastefully and all the flower arrangements took the event into another level of beauty.

To Christina and Emerson, Cheers!!!

Christina & Ronnie

Tied the knot on August 22nd, 2009 in Redondo Beach. We had planned this day with the couple, for months, the day arrived and nothing happened as planned, but we all (them and us) had a great time! I couldn't believe they would dare to go in the water and get their clothes all wet! I was afraid that we didn't have enough time for anything to find out now, that we had just the perfect time for everything.

Through the key lock.

The day was quite a challenge. No flash allowed, can't get close to the altar, enormous -yet beautiful-church with very dim lighting... but the outcome is so rewarding.

This pair were just too much fun! We had a beautiful lighting, the sky was clear, empty streets (yep, Beverly Hills) it was just a breeze afternoon. I am so looking forward to their wedding in September 5th, also to be held in Beverly Hills.

Oh, love!

Oh, love!

Matt and Mika got married on the 25th of July. A hot day, for a hot couple! The day was very eventful but the bride and groom always kept their cool and made everyone enjoy the moment. The venue was in Pomona and their ceremony started around sunset time, lighting was very challenging, and we were aiming to capture as much natural light as possible.

Becca's Headshot Session.

Rebecca came in our studio and wanted some pictures of herself taken for her new Biscottis' business. We had very limited time to do this session, but I had a great time and and worked some of her ideas. Thinking about all the limitations we faced that day, but from the time she was just hanging out on the couch to striking a pose for a moment, T think the pictures turned out better than I thought at first.

We will link her company when is up and ready for you to taste her delicious creations.

Saturday afternoon we went down to Anaheim and witnessed a (simultaneously) bilingual ceremony. We , Carmen, Enrique and I, were quite busy, from noon to evening, we also had a lot of fun and found some familiar faces among guests and family members, that we really shared the moments and laughter. We are posting some favorites, but more images will come soon.

Daniel arrived very early last May 27th, and we had the pleasure to do his new born session. He needed some snacks and a little encouragement from mom and dad at times, but he did great!

One or two Cameras ?

As you all can imagine, weddings take a great deal of money. Venues, flowers, food, music.... and when it comes to photography, and choosing one or two cameras it can be real easy to think your budget only allows you a one camera package. One or multi-camera packages are both beautiful, but there is one major fact to be taken in consideration, during the vows, the photographer must pick between the bride's face or the groom's reactions, and we all know who wins this match!

The Pearl Photography always includes two photographers, starting at $799.00, it officially is called ¨Read Pearl¨ but we all know it as ¨The Economy-Sucks¨package, an incredible photography offer, where you save money, get two angles and nothing to worry about on the final outcome.

It is very important that every couple remember their wedding the way it really happened, and not the way they think it happened.

All packages include the following:

• Unlimited photos taken
• Online proofing of all images (2 weeks after event)
• CD will all High Resolution Jpeg. images
• 2 Photographers

Christina & Emerson

Engagement Session. Once again, we are thrilled with the outcome of this session that we couldn't resist to publish some not-retouched images, WE LOVE'EM! Christina & Emerson are a great couple, and beside the fact that we all were laughing almost all the time, their love and kindness was felt on every picture we took that day. Canoga Park, California.

QuinceaƱera!

Aileen turned 15 last weekend and we had the privilege to be her photographers. Such a tasteful event, with the very unique Mexican touch and style. The ceremony was at San Agustin's on Washington Blvd. Beautiful images that I personally love and will consider one of my favorite ones. The reception and party was amazing. We even got to hit the dance floor and boogie with the entire family! Me and the crew simply had a blast!

Baby Pictures!

Souad and Luis were one of my favorite couples in 2008, we had just so much fun from the day we met for their engagement session, until last weekend, when we met again to do their baby pictures. They are expecting Daniel in about a month from now. Here is a sneak peek of that day, and also alongside a couple of shots from their wedding day.

Pricing Photography.

There are basically two methods of pricing photography: one is to price the service of taking the photos, and the other is the charge for the afterward retouching and polishing of the images, proofing and putting together and album, these, accordingly to the client's needs.

One of our main goals is to provide our clients with high quality product/service at an excellent price! Unlike many photographers, we provide them with one high-resolution cd in jpeg format, this enables them to achieve significant savings. They can also pick and choose exactly which pictures to be printed or enlarged if they decide for us to this for them.

Our temporary Price list is still in progress, but we're going public with our starting prices:

- Wedding packages start at $899.00
- Headshots and Portraits at $99.00

Potential clients still have to call in for details as we are still taking the measures necessary to adjust our quality to their needs and combine them to result in uncomplicated and amazing photography.

Now we're bloggin'!.

www.thepearlphoto.com is finally published, this means that a big step has been taken. We are a group of four young photographers working our way to success! Our one common thing among each other, is that we strive to photograph the best of people, or any object in front our lenses. We are usually paired in groups of tow for almost any event and this last year, 2008, probably our most successful year (so far), and were blessed with tons of work and wedding photography, mostly. We've learned a lot! And this blog will serve us to expose our up's and down's so far.
